Bust of Alexander VIII right/ Saints Peter and Paul illuminated by the Holy Spirit. Rare silver Testone which shares the design of the gold Quadrupla coin. By engraver and medallist Antonio Travani. VF, pierced, rather nice, with original grey toning, never cleaned. From an old collection of papal coins of the 1940s. Berman #2179, Muntoni #21. Alexander VIII reigned for less than 17 months.
