1676 silver piastra, coined to commemorate the election of Pope innocent XI on September 21, 1676. Obverse: Pope right, wears cassock, cap and stole. Reverse: Saint Matthew, writing in book, turns towards an angel. In exergue, the coat of arms of Monsignor Raggi. Approximately 44.5mm across, 32 grams. Graded NGC Very Fine Details, mount removed. Attractively toned with all details quite sharp for the grade.
