Bust right / angel seated on a railroad. Commemorates the railroad in the Papal States. By P. Girometti. The appearance of the medal is rather nice, but there are enough surface marks that the overall grade is VF. This is one of the most popular papal medals and, with many in Railroad collections, it is hard to obtain.
