Benedict XIV 1750 Closing of the Holy Door

Benedict XIV 1750 bronze medal on the closing of the Holy Door in the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls. Obverse depicts a bricked Holy Door with a radiant cross at the center. Reverse includes the name of Cardinal Pier Luigi Carafa, who was the Bishop of Tricarico and elevated to Cardinal in 1645. Beautiful red and brown Unc.
