Innocent X (1644-55) Veronica's Veil

Bronze medal, 27mm across, for the Holy Year 1650. Obverse: Pope innocent X left. Reverse: A procession of pilgrims kneels before the Holy Door in which appears the Veil of Veronica (Volto Santo). Struck under the direction of the Mint Master of Rome, Francesco Mazio, circa 1824.
