Innocent X (1644-55) The Holy Year 1650

Obverse: Pope Innocent X right, crowned with the tiara, wears cope on which appears the standing figure of Saint Peter. Reverse: The Holy Door in which appears the Veil of Veronica (Volto Santo). Struck under the direction of the Mint Master of Rome, Francesco Mazio, circa 1824. Includes a custom, clear lucite holder, great for display!
