Official Vatican Museum Medal, 1998, in .925 silver. Obverse depicts Raphael's THE TRANSFIGURATION with Christ between Moses and Elijah. Reverse depicts Giovanni Battista Salvi da Sassoferrato's 1650 painting MADONNA WITH CHILD. Seventh issue in the series, started in 1992, commemorating the art of the Vatican Museums.
